How is the volume of the gases related to its temperature and pressure
Good Day...
Volume is the amount of space which is occupied by gas particles.
Volume is affected by temperature, pressure and the amount of gas.
Boyles Law - states that volume is inversely proportional to pressure when the amount of gas and temperature are constant.
Charles Law - states that volume is directly proportional to kelvin temperature when the amount of gas and pressure are constant.
Avogadros Law - states that volume is directly proportional to the amount of gas when pressure and temperature are constant.
Every one mole of a gas will occupy a volume of 22.4 Liters at STP (standard temperature and pressure)
Hope it helps...=)
